As for it being runner up XD haha there were many great carvings there and I was just in it for people to see my pumpkin, So I've been more then happy
is it 'vented' somwhere i can't see? i have trouble with the candle going out if i don't do that.
yup its vented. I found out quickly about that problem of my design xD At the back of the lid I cut a small hole first, and then got an apple corer and made a big hole at the back just to ensure it had enough oxygen.
